2. Free Delivery
2.1 We offer free standard delivery within Hong Kong only for regular-sized items after a purchase of HK$1000 or more.
2.2 All other orders will incur delivery charges as detailed in Section 5.
3. Global Delivery Policy
3.1 We deliver worldwide for regular-sized items.
3.2 Machines and heavy equipment are only available for delivery to selected countries.
3.3 We may, at our discretion, arrange deliveries to additional countries and territories.
4. Delivery Methods and Periods
4.1 Delivery methods and estimated timeframes:
– Hong Kong: Orders are shipped via local courier services, with a typical delivery period of 4-7 working days.
– International (Regular Items): Orders are shipped via CXC Express with DHL, FedEx, Hong Kong Post, or other courier providers, with delivery times varying based on location.
– International (Machines & Heavy Equipment): Delivery is limited to selected countries and may require special arrangements.
4.2 We ship orders within 30 days of receiving payment and order confirmation in normal conditions.
4.3 Delivery timeframes are indicative. While we strive for timely deliveries, we do not guarantee arrival within the stated period.
4.4 Fraud screening checks may delay dispatch. If a delay occurs due to such checks, we will notify you.
4.5 Rivet Global holds the final decision right regarding all shipping and delivery matters.
5. Delivery Charges
5.1 Delivery charges are calculated automatically during checkout or provided upon request for phone/email orders.
5.2 Charges depend on the delivery method, destination, and order size/weight.
6. Delivery Tracking
6.1 Tracking is available for all orders.
6.2 To track your order, enter your tracking number (sent via email) into our delivery service provider’s tracking system.
7. Receipt and Signature
7.1 All deliveries must be received in person, and a signature is required.
7.2 Our delivery provider will notify you before attempting delivery.
8. Additional Deliveries
8.1 If the first delivery attempt fails, our provider will make at least one more attempt.
9. Delivery Issues
9.1 If you experience delivery problems, contact us via the details provided on our website.
9.2 If delivery fails due to customer fault (e.g., incorrect address), and the order is not collected within the specified timeframe, we may arrange re-delivery at your expense.
9.3 Common causes of delivery failure:
– Incorrect or inaccessible delivery address
– No secure location to leave the package
– No recipient available for in-person receipt
10. Additional Online Order Information
10.1 We aim to dispatch orders the same working day if placed before 2 PM. However, stock shortages or busy periods may cause delays. We will notify you if the delay exceeds 3 working days.
10.2 No delivery to PO Boxes.
11. Shipping Charges
11.1 Delivery charges are automatically calculated at checkout.
11.2 Orders over HK$1000 qualify for free delivery within Hong Kong only for regular-sized items, except for:
– Remote areas within covered regions
– Heavy machinery such as chainsaws, stump grinders, or winches
– Oversized products requiring special shipping – for shipments outside Hong Kong, please contact info@rivetglobal.co
11.3 Orders that do not meet these conditions will incur shipping charges calculated at checkout.
11.4 Telephone orders may be chargeable due to extra processing. A price will be provided over the phone.
12. Regional & Global Shipping
12.1 Regular-sized items can be shipped worldwide.
12.2 Machines and heavy equipment are shipped only to selected countries.
12.3 Delivery charges will be calculated based on the destination and order weight.
13. Import Duties & Taxes
13.1 We are not responsible for any import taxes or charges levied by your country. Please check with your local customs office for potential charges before ordering.
14. Shipping Providers
14.1 We use CXC Express, DHL, UPS, and FedEx for international deliveries and local courier services for domestic shipping.
14.2 Email tracking information is provided for all orders. Real-time tracking is available in the Review Online Orders section of your account.
